CSR Design Green Investment Advisory, Co., Ltd.

After holding positions at Industrial Bank of Japan, Merrill Lynch, and Deutsche Bank, Horie founded CSR Design Green Investment Advisory Co., Ltd. in 2010. The firm provides consulting services on sustainability across the real estate, infrastructure, and financial sectors, while also conducting research for public-sector organizations on domestic and international policy developments, market trends, and regulatory frameworks related to green real estate, ESG investment, and impact investing.
Graduated from the Faculty of Law, the University of Tokyo; holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.

Horie has served in numerous leadership and advisory roles, including Chair of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) Study Group on the Promotion of ESG Investment and Special Advisor to the Property Working Group of the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI). He currently serves on various committees for MILT; Ministry of the Environment (MOE); Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry (METI); and Tokyo Metropolitan Government, among others, and is a member of the GRESB Real Estate Standards Committee.
